Golden Milk Recipe
1/4 cup organic Turmeric powder
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
1 teaspoon freshly crushed cardamom
1 teaspoon freshly ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground Ceylon cinnamon
1 teaspoon organic unpasteurized honey
½ cup coconut oil
1 cup organic goat’s milk or coconut milk
Personal Cannabis oil dose
Simmer the water in a saucepan and add the turmeric, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon, stirring frequently with a utensil you are happy to see turn yellow for 2 minutes. Add the coconut oil and stir until blended completely. Add the pepper and turn the heat down to low, stirring frequently for another 2 minutes. Allow to cool and stir in the honey. Refrigerate in a glass container. When it is time to make some very potent Golden milk, add a tablespoon (or less at first) to a cup of goat milk or coconut milk. Heat until it is warm enough that small bubbles come to the surface. Do not allow it to boil. Add Cannabis oil. Enjoy daily, especially about an hour before bed.
Here is the why...
There are hundreds, if not thousands of medical herbs and each one has something special that it can do to help. More importantly, when you combine certain herbs they can intensify their beneficial effects in a variety of ways. For example, when you add freshly cracked pepper to Turmeric powder it makes the usually hard to absorb curcumin about 2,000 times more absorbable.
